A Word about IHRA Division 9 Summit Pro-Am
I would like to take moment to give my sincere THANKS to all the racers that competed in the IHRA Division 9 Summit Pro-Am Tour this past season. I know that I speak for all the Div. 9 Pro-Am Tracks when I say THANKS. We know YOU have a choice as to where you race and where you spend your entertainment dollars and we thank you for racing with us this year, and with your support we are looking forward to another great year. I would also like to CONGRATULATE all the Division 9 Pro-Am CHAMPIONS. Junior Dragster - Beginners- Jason Craft, - Advanced- Chad Estep, - Masters- Tayler Rae Cooper, Hot Rod- Chip Johnson, Super Rod- Scott Lawton, Quick Rod- Lauren Freer, Stock- Terry Taylor, Super Stock- Tracy Robbins (Division 9 Driver of the Year) Top Dragster- Dylan Stott, Top Sportsman- Mark Payne I would also like to say a word of THANKS to all the Track Owners/Operators and to all of their Staffs who work so hard to prepare for and host these races. Thank You! and to all the IHRA Officials, you guys and galls you did a great job as always, Thank You. There have several questions on the Friday – Saturday race format – let me see if I can answer some of the most ask questions. Friday will be Tech and Test & Tune as usual, you can come in late Friday night or early Saturday morning. We will start with two time runs/qualifying runs, then start eliminations and run to completion if possible. If we have weather or any unforeseen problems we will finish on Sunday. Run order this year will be H/R, Stock, Q/R, S/S, J/D-Beg, Adv, Masters, T/D, T/S, J/D-Beg, Adv, Masters. This way the second round of time runs for the cars will be 1st round eliminations for J/Ds, and we should finished with their race before dark. Thanks Satch Gragg IHRA Division 9 |
