Prayers Were Answered

Racers:
First, on behalf of the Dennis Petras family, I would like to thank each of you that took the time to respond to the intial prayer request. Dennis stated that the warm, caring reinforcement he felt from all of the responses helped keep him on point!!

The latest update is that the surgery was a sucess. The surgeons feel that they were able to stop it before it spread further. Brian is recovering well and remains positive. As you can imagine, there will be a sensitive healing period, so please remain deligent in your prayers. The doctors want to give him chemo as an extra measure of caution.

Thanks to Jack Matyas for stopping by the Brew Crew trailer over the week end at the Grove to pass along your sentiments. Dennis got it!! Thanks to Chaplain Dan for his supprt as well. Mom and dad will remain with Brian for at least another week or so,and I will pass along updates as I get them.

I alway knew that drag racers were the best and your support to the Petras family proves it.
