1969 Camaro Restored in 2001

Z28 badges with cowl hood. All steel, red with white stripes.Altronics data collector with driveshaft sensor. Auotmeter gauges with all dial red lite warnings. leather seats made to look like the vinyl originals. Used as a bracket car since 2005. Original dash and stock interior. I have owned the car since 1988. restored it for 12 years.

Fresh, 406 dart engine with callies 42 lbs crank and 2.0 rods. je pistons flat top. 12.5/1 compression with AFR 55cc chambers. Break in time only with NO passes.

This engine has a Weaver brothers 4 stage dry sump system and uses a Fram HP6 filter. Hold's approximately 11.5 quarts

AFR 227 heads with 1.8 shaft rockers. .437 Smith pushrods. Isky lifters with no needle bearings(EZ roll), rev kit. Isky cam with 278/282@ .050.

Set to run with 538 gears and strange 33 spline axles/spool. 12 bolt reinforced rear end with axle tubes welded. Ladders with full adjustability (floater). 9" slicks x 29.5 and 28" goodyear fronts.

Autogear trans with m20 ratio's fully mag particle inspected, Liberty Pro Shifted, lightened main shaft, lightened reverse gear, and new( shot peened) gears. Inline shifter.Steel liner's in cluster gear pin holes and input shaft bearing hole.
Steel midplate.

Rear anti roll bar welded in frame and attached to axle tubes. Strange 10 way adjustable rear shocks. Calvert front shocks and Global west upper a arm mounts. Moroso springs

6 finger 7.25" 2 disk clutch with adjustable base pressure and counterweight adjustment's. 153 tooth quartermaster flywheel. clutch and flywheel weighs in at 19.5 lbs. Mark Williams Driveshaft 3.5" with 1350 yokes.

With original 327ci engine (I still have) 60ft times were 1.56. Ran a best of 11.12 at 123mph (with 327).
