pace trailer

I have a 98 pace american shadow trailer 28' with built in cabinets, upper and lower,stainless counter top, stainless sink, full size shower, flourescent lights, 3 gallon hot water tank, 40 gallon water tank,roof top air conditioniong, outside electric, electric trailer lift, 3500lb built in winch, 5200 lb tandem axels with new tires. It suffered hail damage and the estimate to repair is $5026.00. The insurance company wants to total the trailer cause they say the value is $3,400. Anyone have a good idea as to wha the actual value of this trailer. I told them to go pound salt and they say they will get back with me later. Thanks Mike

if you have not yet... do not discuss anything with them ... hire a REPUTABLE (look hard) lawyer and turn him loose...you will be amazed at the difference in the way he is treated SIMPLY because they are scared he will take them to court.

you will get a much fairer settlement, and save all that blood pressure medicine, pissed off phone calls, and general anguis involved in getting money OUT of insurance companies...

shame it is so damn EASY for them to get our money, and takes act of god to get a fair deal when we have a legitimate claim.

and im not a big fan of lawyers...i just hate insurance companies worse !!
