Default Fast Pontiac in Gt/AA from McCartys twins

Lynn I see you and Stacy finally have a great combo to go fast. I believe that its a 428 motor. Correct? It looks like you now have the fastest legal Pontiac Super Stocker in the country. Did you guys buy this motor from out west or build it yourself? Where ever it came from you 2 are now rocking and rolling.
Good luck and this was written due to a dare from others.

BES Racing Engines built it. We dynoed it on Friday, in the car on Sat, tried to hook up at a test track on Sunday(unsuccesfully) got in line for Indy Sunday night. It was way fat coming off the dyno, and it bogged severely all weekend. The best ET had a 1.409 60 foot and popped a bit through the lights 5th run on the motor.

Another few runs and we should have it dialed in a bit better. Stacy felt very priviledged just to participate with such a top notch bunch of cars and racers.

Stout, you sucked sand up your nostrils in that dust storm. When you gonna bring that GTDA Chebby back so I can whoop on your ***** some more? You will probably beat me to the 1/8 mile, but if you look into the rear view mirror, and see that black Pontiac at the 1000 foot.......its already too late.

Thanks Jack!

Lynn
You have not whipped on my butt once yet. I drove next to you in staging lanes for class at Byron Class Nats and you all of a sudden wanted to draw straws to not have to run me. Right now I'm having to much fun with my other car 83 Monte 400 SBC DOT and mufflers. Now it would wax that Pontiac and be able to drive to and from the track. Besides you guys were no fun and I went to GT/BA so Don Mason get beat on me.

Jeff,

It wasn't me, that is what they wanted. I always had DK do my light work since you moved out west so you wouldn't have to run me.

Joe,

If it were empties, it would have been Gin as Stacy is a martini guy! Maybe it was all the rings from his ex wives? LOL

Stacy thought two 3/8 bolts on the battery hold down would be as good as one 1/2 bolt...., but NHRA tech didn't agree. It was 100% secure, and kind of prophetic that a Pro Stock guy had unsecured ballast falling off onto the track while on the run! Stacy felt like they should have given him a chance to change it, but they wouldn't.

So your saying the same bolts were holding the battery AND weight. No wonder he was tossed out.
