Daren, I would be interested in what transmission this car will have. The 6 speed stick would be cool.

My $.02?
If that contraption can run anything from AA-C, there’s going to be a lot of fast cars for sale soon and even more guys running FS combos. Not a fan of this one. Flame away.

I?m sorry I just can?t get behind this, I don?t care how much money Toyota, or BMW or whoever spent, that should be maybe a super street car at best doesn?t fit stock or super stock. What?s next Honda civic with a Subaru motor and twin turbo nitrous ?factory? setup?

Unless the rules have changed, how does a General Motors automatic transmission bolt up to a Toyota (or BMW) engine, and even more curious, how does a Japanese car get around that pesky rule that has always required the transmission (and rearend) being used, to be of the same manufacturer as the car? Or did Toyota buy GM while nobody was looking? I really doubt that this so called "Production" Toyota car is available at the Toyota dealership with a GM Turbo 400 transmission connecting the engine to the , I assume, Toyota rear axle assembly.
