There have been a few big money Stock , Super Stock races in the past few years. Bo Butner and Tyler Bohannon have put them on. Bo's race had about 135 in each class cars and Tylers had a similar number. None have been really successful in the big numbers. I raced at Bo's race and it was a blast. 4 races for one tow. 3- 20K and one 50K
One thing about big money races is no one actually wins the big advertised purse. They get down to about 8 cars and then come up with some sort of split so everyone gets a good pay day. Hopefully this invitational race will be a huge success and be able to continue.

You don't have to split. we don't.
![]() and 6 weeks later he lost in the semi of the Summer Fling $100K race. not big money but all the money 3 months ago ![]() I suggest those of you that can hit the tree consistently and drive the stripe to give big $ bracket racing a try. Oh it's also 1/8th mile, I know, get over it ![]() ![]() Last edited by 1320racer; 12-01-2023 at 12:14 PM. |
