Default Class Racer Revival 2021

The weather is shaping up to look great, don't miss out on this opportunity to run for money that justifies your effort. You've got several groups of people this year trying to put on races to give class racers something worth running for, support these races or the opportunity may not present itself in the future. Hope to see you there.

Looking forward to this race!

Just listened to the Class Racer Today podcast and was glad to hear Tyler say that tech will be emphasized and enforced.

Only a few days before the start of the event, I can't wait! The weather forecast is looking amazing, too. Thanks to Tyler and Brian for putting on this event.

If anybody hasn't seen yet, you can enter at the gate and also run just one of the two races if you choose, so come join in the fun! I am sure it's going to be a great race!

First time to Gateway for myself and the "degererates" aka my pit crew the beagles Bruno and Belle.

Any tips on best way into the track, best gate, etc. Google maps as we all know can lead you down some not so great paths!

How are the pits? They sell VP? Concessions?

Thanks

Eric

The track is located on the Illinois border. You can see the FAMOUS ARCH and the track from the Interstate. You will enter the track through Gate 1. A few miles SOUTH of the track is EAST ST. LOUIS, I strongly suggest avoiding this neighborhood at ALL COSTS ....BEWARE !!! ......You will be pitting on ASPHALT . Since this is TYLER’s race I dont know if fuel or track concessions will be open. The WORLD FAMOUS GIDDY PIGGY will be on the grounds and I have been told their food is delicious. The grilled cheese sandwich comes highly recommended. You will be in GOOD hands with the BOHANNON Family.

In 2001 Alex talked me into put my junk together and race the Class Nationals, 20 years later we set a goal to race this race. If you would have told me Monday morning that I would be going looked hopeless. Moving forward Tuesday a phone call from a racer {Brian Anderson} I did not know very well ended with us getting his spare transmission from halfway to Canada to Pierce NE on Thursday. Ramsey had it in by 7. Checked and loaded Friday nite and left for Topeka 5am Saturday for testing only to have a few more problems, got it going with the help of more racers and got in some solid runs. 6.857 Sat 6.839 6.838 6.995 first round on the brakes 6.837 break out with Gerry Picek driving. See you all in Madison. Tom

Looking forward to it. Will be doing interviews for MotormaniaTV and I am seeing quite a few prospects on this page! PS Looking for a camera operator since my partner is racing in the event and my fiance has to stay home this week.
