Depending on how their schedule stacks on the Baby Gators I’m hoping to run class at Gainesville, get a grade point and still be able to get a time trial and race the 10K. I’m now following Orlando on FB to see what info they share on pre entry and schedule.

Makes mine much easier. If it was less I was thinking of running class Thursday and then heading to Orlando but now I will stay in one place.

[QUOTE=matt82114;631520]In my opinion, they did this to show NHRA how racers SHOULD be rewarded with better payouts and promotion.
If this race is a success and the baby gators flops, I think NHRA will quickly realize they're in trouble and make drastic changes money wise. I highly suggest racers attend this race. It'll really make heads turn in Glendora. NHRA thinks they're the best option for sportsmen, pro stock & pro mod .... this race should prove them wrong. Don't miss your chance to snub NHRA and prove racers deserve better. Wish we had more options to run our car .... but we're kinda limited. Lol Matt Hanley Leverich Racing - Top Fuel Dragster[/QUOTE Double edged sword. If it fails, makes NHRA position stronger. With $500 entry, compared to NHRA $200. will be interesting. |

The Southern Sportsman Showdown is $900 entry for 3 $20k races, The Class racer revival is $699 for 2 $25k races. $500 for single $10k race is not the best deal in town considering ProStock is $1000 entry for $75K. I guess S/SS combo will cover the ProMod/ProStock payout. I will be racing the Showdown and Revival, Just not sold on the Doorslammer just yet.
