I may need to look at a new one, but for years, right in the front, it stated that the rules were presented in a positive manor, meaning unless it states that you can do something, it is not allowed.
What is a "POSITIVE MANOR" ? Is that an NHRA office building or a mansion on a hill ?

Well we fit a 9" tire under a stock 66 Nova with no modifications, but it was a 26" tire.

Probably should have said a 9 x 30 inch tire, ......Perhaps you had help from Charlie Brown and Linus massaging the quarter panels ?

No Chillers in Staging would be a leveling of the field compromise. IMHO
I very often get parked in the pits, down near the end of the shut down area. If you get to pit near the staging lanes, it’s no problem. What does a chiller in the staging lanes bother?

Seems like it was Wesley, made a go/ no go gauge for throttle body checking. If you are used to looking at them, it is easy to see where the machining was done to enlarge one.

Just remembered: When mine was my daily driver, it had a 383” engine I built for it. A couple tenths quicker than it is as a Super Stocker. I had a 58mm (1000 cfm) throttle body on it. One time we were testing, I bolted it on my SS 350”. Did not run any quicker. The factory unit (750 cfm) is big enough. Sold the big one to a local kid.

The current rules don't allow one. It is one of those rules that is selectively enforced.
