In Need of Tires

I'm in search of a tire they no longer make. Mickey Thompson ET Drag 20x6x14 or 20x8x14.

New or Used. They just need to be round and have a little rubber left on them. The set I am running is to the cords. Didn't expect to go that many rounds this past weekend.

Hoping someone has a set sitting around somewhere.

Steve, google american racer tires
Look under either asphalt mini stock or road racing (I can't remember which)
They make a 20x7x14.

I see a 23x7x14 or a 20x6x13 but no 20x6x14

last MT tire catalog showed was 2009 listed as # 3018

I think they're long gone. I think Avon makes a 19" road race tire. I ended up going to the 22" M/T on the Turismo. Car doesn't have near enough gear in it for that.

Steve I have looked for years they are long gone. Wish they still made them I would like to get a set of the 20 in ones.

Believe it or not I think I have a friend who bought a brand new set of the 8"? Years ago and has stored them out of the sun. I bet they are around 10 years old but never mounted. If you are interested let me know and I'll ask him if he wants to sell

Had many sets of the 20x8x14 from the Cadillac days and even ran them on the SRT Neon, but they are long gone. I have one set still mounted but are hard as a rock and are falling apart. I would give them to you but I wouldn't want to be responsible for a horrible 75 mph top end crash when the came apart on you! Jim

P.S. Billy is correct about American Racer tires. Harry Morgan runs them. They make a 20X8X13 that are great drag tires.Listed under Sports Car/ Auto Cross tires. http://www.americanraceronline.com/
