Some Fontana Observations
THE GOOD Even with the heat the track prep was superior THE BAD No shade anywhere No running water Only hot stinky Porta Johns that were not serviced. Only one food vender selling greasy sausages A snow cone vender would have done bank. PA system you can't hear in the stands They charged $20 a day to spectate even on Thursday. ( Norwalk only charged $10 and they have amenities) The good I got to visit/bench race with friends There were lots of Stick cars My friend Ken Etter won SS in a tight race with Luneak who was working hard on his stuff all weekend.

Those observations are typical for Fontana and are reflected in the car count. We see the same thing for NMCA races although we have more vendors people don't like the place and stay away

This was the first time I have tried to post pics on here. It wouldn't allow me to post them the first time said they were too big. I put them in my email and let it resize them then posted. I didn't try to open the ones I posted, but that method obviously made them too small and took away the detail. So if I do this in the future how do I resize them so I don't lose detail? I have some more but haven't tried to post them.
