Default RIp Billy Ray

Sad to hear about the passing of Billy Ray. He loved racing and was a great guy to be around at the track . Prayers to Rickie, Dawn and Rosie.

Couldn't agree more. Was sad to see that yesterday. I know Dawn said he'd been having health issues for a while. He was so much fun to be around listening to him talk and tell stories when I was growing up. He'll be greatly missed.

Wow sorry to hear this. I have not seen the Ray's in years but had lots of good times running against them in ss/cs. He was always a pleasure to be around. I believe he was a AHRA world champ in modified or super stock.
Great guy.

Very sorry to hear this news, prayers for the family. Some of my early memories of racing are times spent with the Ray family...good people.

A great racer, and a great man. I believe he was the 1975 AHRA SS world champ. I seen him on the cover of either SS and Drag Illilistrated, or Car Craft. Wheels straight, I mean straight, in the air. I ran against him in the 70's at Bethany Missouri. I didn't fare to well. He wowed the crowd there with those huge wheel stands. And was a hero to me. Sorry to hear.

You'll have to excuse the Username I chose, but atleast it lightens the mood. Anyways, I passed your condolences on to the family. Thank you all, we sure miss him!

Thanks again,

Christian Ray

P.S. If anyone has any clue to the whereabouts of this car could you give me a call. I have a couple cars I'd sell in a heartbeat to buy it from the current owner. Might be a long shot but it's worth it. 8162620766
