I'm very sad to learn of Alex's passing...I never met him...but did speak to him once...a
week or so prior to the US Class Nationals on the phone. Boy did I pick a bad time as he was in the midst of a camshaft change on the "Moneymaker"....He only had a minute or two to speak...but straightened me out on a couple of details about the event..... Unfortunately work got in the way and I was unable to attend...which I regret... Alex...thank you for your vision and hard work in making that race HAPPEN!!!! And also for your commitment in serving the racer community.... RIP Alex...prayers to family. |
