Let's start with your top qualifying spot at the Autometer Northern Class Nationals - that Ray Baton power is very impressive. And your R/U spot in Stock Eliminator is a great bookend to the race weekend. George has been racing his non-descript white COPO for a couple of years and has more laps on his "Country Club Car" than most others. George races a lot - I've been watching him for a while. His last name - YAGO - is easy to spot on the Q-Sheets. George is one of the many tough Pittsburgh area class racers like Boburka, Sheehans, Loskett, Denny Ford, Kunsak, Darroch, The Butters and many more. I first met George on Saturday - he's a low key guy - easy to talk to and you can tell he really likes racing. As the rounds went by, a number of people commented that YAGO was the one to watch - "George is a tough bracket racer from way back...."
And George, I'm glad you got a good laugh watching that Helmet Cam video from the Pittsburgh IHRA race. Good luck at Indy. ![]()
