53 Stock/Super Stock cars on Saturday and 49 on Sunday....heck of a show. A few pics from the weekend:

In the red stripes on Douglas' Cobra Jet are the names from the soldiers KIA in Iraq and Afghanistan. A fitting tribute, especially on the 4th of July:

Class Racer member Bobby Devine and his slick little Nova:

Tim Nicholson (GT/I) and Mike Koppien (SS/EA). Tim was runner up on Sunday to Watertown, South Dakota's Doug Engles and his SS/HA Corvette.

Sunday's winner, Doug Engles SS/HA and Greg Rauscheir's TBolt:

John Overby's A/SA Drag Pack Challenger:

Saturday's final. Rich Muhlenhardt's #1 qualified IT/SA pickup against Tom Lewis from Hudson South Dakota and his #53 qualified M/SA '65 Chevelle. Tom Lewis prevailed, running six thou. over his dial. :

Thanks to Corky and company for putting this party together for the racers to socialize. Thanks to all who brought all the wonderful goodies. No one went home hungry. It was so much fun coming to your track. Everyone was so welcoming and the starting crew were fabulous.
(Last picture is Rich accepting his 100.00 bonus from Midwest Race Cabinets. He also won a can of C-12 race gas -maybe someone can post who the generous donor is)

What a FANTASTIC weekend! Thanks to all the racers who attended (53 on sat 48 on sun) congrats to the winners & runner ups you had a national event level of competition and thanks to all our sponsors for helping MCR be one of the highest paying races in the nation. Corky,Terry,Brian & Jamison equipment the potluck was great.All who attended where smiling and full. Last we need to thank our host track Thunder Valley Dragways. The starting line crew keep that track hooking as if we where at a national event even through a starting line temp of 130 plus. The tower kept a tight knit schedule so Thank You to Glenn Rapp & his crew!
