Default what a race

I know it's not drag racing but my goodness - the INDY 500 was unreal

70 lead changes - 15 different leaders - former NASCAR racer Allmendiger - goes from first to last to first with out rules help (lucky dog)

Some are complaining because there was no pinball finish with multiple restarts so the last one standing can win without ever leading any lap but the last - they are overlooking the 496 miles of some of the greatest racing ever

225 mph one foot from your competitors with out fenders to rub

INDY in MAY instead of September is what I grew up with - I may be a bit biased since I was raised there

Ron

Very entertaining race. Indy car racing has its issues but I think they are learning to let the racing speak for itself, then find your stars.

The Gran Prix of Monaco was pretty cool too, for those early risers!

We went to the 600 in Charlotte, my son knows the head chef at the speedway and he got us tickets to the champions pavilion right behind the pits stalls of Kyle Busch and Montya. Big buffet, all you can drink, and scanners. What a deal.

I love it all.

Being a kid many years ago and going to the qualifying weekends were always a blast. Through the years the indy cars having have gone down hill. This year was a great change for what ever reason. The race was very enjoyable and the crowd looked very good on TV.To me it has made a come back. They could use a green white checker IMO. Lets race for the win and not let a accident dictate the end result. Jeff
