how 'bout that Hank Dinger!
Hey...good to see Hank (Island Dragway) recognized in National Dragster...long overdue...a genuine "back east" dude
 ...a gentleman... still listed in Webster's under class act...my...and many others very good "fortune" to know along the road of life 'eh...raced there many years...close to 50...with fuel cars to super /stocks'...our twins jr dragsters too..."assume" Dragster mis-informed (?) about Island currently functioning...sure would be great if it was/is...and of course Hank was at his usual station... Yes he did and could tell you everything you ever needed to know about the history of the area and also about Rice Hull Ash.......used to clean up an oil down.....
He liked to tour the pits before racing started and talk to us racers to gain some info he could use during the day while he announced... Othe announcers at Island.... Don Hamson (spelling) early to mid 60's Leo John Samuals for a year or two around 1970 Nick Ritter (spelling) for a long time
