Greg...The SS/B car that went 8.72, was it a 396 powered white Corvette driven by a gentleman from Nashville? MB.

What a great day of racing! Thanks to QuickFuel Technology for Sponsoring the SS/S Combo Series as well as Super Gas. And as always thank you to everyone that came out and supported race #1 of the series.
As was mentioned above 63 cars qualified for Combo and 21 for Super Gas. The results as well as qualifying sheets have been put online on our QuickFuel SS/S Combo & Super Gas page. Hopefully the link below will work as well. http://www.beechbend.com/superstock.htm Sorry for the delay...and sorry for the poor quality; Hopefully I will have that issue resolved by Race #2 coming up on Saturday May 4th. |

MAURICE, Brandon Wilkerson went the 8.72 in his good looking 1969 Vette L88 combination.
Jimmy went a troubled 8.87, we took the transmission apart today. Say "Hey" to Will. |

Hello Chris... Respectable results for the start of the season. Glad to hear it was the transmission, easier to fix. I'll say hello to everyone up here for you. We've all been busy with work and a little behind on the cars. You all take care and say "Hi" to Debbie and Jimmy, from his "Canadian Buddies". MB.

Too bad it doesn't show the class designation for each entry.

For those of you who don't know we qualify, run off a ladder, and have heads up runs. Scales are open and we do weigh for heads up. No fuel check. We self police to a certain extent and trust competitors to run the right class with the right weight.
