I am not sure who the representative for Quickfuel was at Indy, but he was a heck of a nice guy. I don't run one of their carbs since I am fuel injected, but he wanted to know where I was parked so he could give me a t-shirt for the win.

Giving me a t-shirt or food is a quick way to get on my good side. I'm easy, but I am not cheap.

The person giving out the tee shirts was probably Scooter Vester. He is serious about their carburetors and an all around good guy. Quick Fuel makes a great product and Scooter can make them even better when he's at the track.

Might have been Phil Vickous also. He was at Indy. Those guys have been supporters of then A Stick Challenge as well as the A/SA Challenge at Indy.

They listen to us little guys too. They now have a nice Stock SuperStock carb in 600 cfm too.

I have always thought that it shows a lot about a company that pays contingency fast and does what they say they will do. I have heard nothing but good about these guys. Hats off to Quick Fuel! Jim

Quickfuel builds awesome carbs and the individuals you deal with are even better. I am not surprised they were the first to pay. That is how those guys are. I swear by their carbs and their incredible customer service.

I have heard nothing but good comments about QF. I know they really support the racers in their hometown of Bowling Green at Beech Bend.

So they finially got the 600 out ?
I inquired about that carb last year and got an email saying they were working on it for S/SS.

I wonder if that carb is legal for the 1983-1985 Mustang 5.0 ?

It is legal for that combo. I saw one on Gary Summer's car at Indy.
