Cool Re: vacation time?

Everybody I know that has retired is just loving it. Every day is Saturday, projects get worked on, some even get done, going places is no big deal,I'm really starting to look forward to it. Our most recent retirees are getting closer and closer to my age,and they all look ten years younger six months after they left.I'm glad for you. I hope you enjoy every day of it. As soon as a few more ducks get in a row, I'll do it.

I run my own small business. I do not have a vacation policy. My employees are free to take whatever time they need as long as the work is done and they cover for each other. Funny thing is, not once has this policy been abused. I usually cover for everyone at Christmas and holidays as things are pretty slow and we only need someone to answer the phone.

When work gives you a day off, it is the perfect time to head out and have a great time, am I right? I can say that it is worth getting a payday loan to get our mind off work and all the challenges of our life. Make sure you do something fun with this three day weekend. You can go see some friends or just visit a casino for a few days. Learn more here.

been at job for 6 months. no vacation time or sick time uaw member, lmao.
retirement, death.
someones got to pay for all the lazy gov't employees doing nothing but getting fatter here and lazy unemplyed who don't want to work so collect food stamps, section 8 housing, cell phones and free medical. What a boring lifestyle. LI is turning Latino as they always want to work. I'm old school as I do too right along next to them, literally
or join Republican club, sell your soul, and get a gov't job here, and you get to burn fuel all day doing nothing collecting white welfare.
I like having a skill tho myself so I will wait to see whats up with some time off this year......

I started earning 8 hours per month. I now earn 11 hours per month. I have 324 hours vacation right now so about 8 weeks on the books. If I stay long enough I could earn 21 hours a month(about 6 weeks per year). Hard to get off weekends as a State Trooper. If races were held during the week it would work better for me. LOL

Used to be 2 weeks after 1 year service, 3 after 10, and 4 after 20. Now I have 52 weeks per year, lol.

None
Never had a paid day off in my life. I guess that's what happens when your basically self employeed in the construction business.
Now after 35yrs I own part of the company and have even less time off.
