I plan to be there to test Friday (weather not looking the best), and if all goes well, run Saturday's program.
Car count might be tough this weekend Glenn with a 2-day NHRA Open in Cedar Falls, IA. I will have (2) $100 Gift Certificates from Fat Joe's Racecraft LLC in Sauk Rapids, MN to provide to the Winner/Runner-Up for this Saturday's Combo!

My son Taylor is getting married to his gal Jessie on Friday night, so I will not be able to make this one. Is BIR going to open the track for parking on the 12th (Sunday afternoon) like years past? Good luck everyone. Dyno

Results:
I am respectfully reporting the results from the Aug. 4 BIR S/SS combo. The weather on Sat. was beautiful we had an excellent car count of 29 cars. Kari Findell was #1 with her F/SA duster. The final was very exciting for everyone involved. It was a heads-up E/SA race between James Findell and myself. I think the best way to describe the outcome is like this... "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!" James unfortunately had traction issues. ONLY due to his misfortune we were able to muster a win against the one of, ( if not THE ) baddest E/SA cars in the country. I would like to thank all my friends for the help & time. This CAN NOT be done alone. Thanks to Line Performance for the fresh engine and the dyno work. Thanks to everyone who has helped me with this car. You know who you are and the list is very long. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! It was an AWESOME day in my life, and one I will NEVER forget. Results: W/ Glen DeMenge E/SA RU/ James Findell E/SA Semi: Lance Line A/SA & Todd Curtis SS/KA Thanks for the car turnout and keeping the BIR S/SS combos going. Thanks for the $100 Gift Certificates from Fat Joe's Racecraft LLC in Sauk Rapids, MN (C.O. Travis Sorokie ) We are working to make things even better next year. See you all at the BIR LUCAS OIL NATIONALS on the 16th! Glen DeMenge Last edited by MEXJOE; 08-05-2012 at 01:37 PM. |

Congrats Glen! That's why they run the race. Think I got a dent in my floor pan from throttle trying to make up gap... It was close on big end.
Must be something with right lane there in late rounds. Blew tires off at points meet also, that time luck was on my side. You did your job. I'll be ready for a rematch in 2 weeks...
