GoPro Hero2 - What Do You Think?

While at the PRI Show in Orlando I picked up the new GoPro Hero2 to use in the race car. How many of you are using this camera and what do you think of them? Are there any tips you could give others to make it easier to use? I planed on attaching it to the roll bar behind the front seats as I have heard that a dash cam is a no-no. Jim

They are great but they ae very hard to turn on after you are buckled in race car and if you hit the button too long it goes to a picture mode. I would for sure get the remote when it comes so all you have to do is press the remote , i think they will be avaible in Feb.

Jim: I got one, I use it as a tuning aid with the clutch. You can watch the tach on the video to see if it locks up or slips. I like it, but you need a very fast computer to watch it or you can see it on your TV. I have an Dell Latitude with XP software and the video doesn't work. A Mac computer that my friend has plays the video right from the camera.

Why not? It's not like NHRA is ever going put a stocker on TV.

I see lot's of NHRA viedos on YouTube. If there's a real reason why we can't have them in the car, I'd like to know before I buy one myself...
