Default new staging lites

any thoughts on the new staging lite used at nat events

I ran stock at Englishtown.First time for me.Didn't seem to make a difference.On my first time shot I staged real carefully and the top circle did the same blinking as the old bulbs did.

Saw them for the first time in Charlotte- Pull out and there they were- no memo from NHRA or anything, Can't miss them, it's just difficult to judge if you rolled in or not ,
Since then I just flicker the white light and my lights have been good.

Several racers at Englishtown rolled thru the beams when they found out several types of blue blocker shields or sunglasses dont allow you to see the blue circle ,only the white bar.
No memo ,or oh, by the way from NHRA on that one , just a wasted run and an "oh really" from NHRA when questioned about it.

I wonder about darker shields and such !.....

I'm not sure that's the issue, the one complaint I've heard is that they are really bright...

I was on them for the first time......no issue.....they are bright though....but so what....

They blink and do all the same stuff.....
