Default help with the go pro hero

when the car wheel stands the sun makes everything into a whiteout
how can i stop this

Put a V6 in it,or wheelie bars. The V6 would definitely eliminate the wheelstand problems!

Which Go-pro, the hd or the older standard. Where do you have the camera mounted? I put mine on the dash in front of the tach and never have any issues. With wheelies in the dakota, smaller but faster in the dragpak, and slower still in the classic challenger. Both cameras have worked 100% as long as you don't let the battery die.

The HD is a lot easier to use.

I didn't like the roll cage mounts at all.

Your settings might be at fault too.

its an hd mounted on helmet
if can happen when i look from the shifter to the windshield

Vic, I saw how you had your camera mounted. The GoPro and GoPro HD has trouble with the contrasting colors. With direct sunlight like we had this weekend there really is no fix. You either have to set the camera back in the car and have the interior in focus or have the camera mounted so the majority of what its seeing is in sunlight (outside the windshield). Hope this helps.
