I know the answer is "because we can". But, why does NHRA continue to do this? Hit a combo (deserving or not), without tearing it down to determine if it was even legal? I know when Robin Brown SS/K ran the 9.89 to get HP he tore it down so there would be no doubt about it being legal. Then you hear about weight, gas, classification over the years being wrong but still get hit HP. I wish NHRA can figure out that there own dial in rules! I will wall it the "Toby Rule!" Why, can't they just be consistant? That is all we want as racers.....Ok I am better. I agree, Mr. John, it was a very classy thing you did explaining things at they are. seat did not fold, albiet a 4 door seat... while they were discussing it gracia noted the rear windows were inoperable too and he was not allowed to race at indy.
