Talking Re: HP adjustments??????

I'm sure that they will pick up the HP that they lost to the NHRA's new factor numbers with cams and or piston changes. They are just screwing with computer tunes now, just wait. I'm sure that those engines haven't been stroked the .013 that you are allowed along with lighter pistons and all the other crap you can do to a "STOCK" engine. Give them some time and I'm sure that the one's that are going mid 9's now in stock, will be going low 9's or into the high 8's.

I have not seen where they have made a single change yet. I just checked the 2010 Ford classification sheet and it hasn't been changed. We can only hope that the cars in question get hit with a decent amount of HP, although I'm sure they won't get hit with what they deserve.

Hummmmmm, Maybe someone will build one of these new (blown or un blown) Mustangs or Dodge DP's for IHRA's A/PS (8.0 lb break) class that has a 12.05 index.......LOL. I can see low high 9's to low 10's thru the Flo master mufflers ! Lets see.....How about the 10.0 lb class (C/PS) in pure stock. Mid 10's on a 12.75 index maybe! Damn it gets better and better. I guess these new cars are the way to go if you can afford one.

Jim,
The 2010 352 Ford got 10 ... none of the other Ford combos went 1.25 under, so they won't get HP till the end of the year ...

It seems that I remember Chris "Drooze" making the prediction here quite a while ago, that these cars could get into the eights, and he got ripped up, down and sideways for saying it....

Wonder who is smiling now?

And as some of you all suspect, and some even forecast, you "aint" seen nothing yet...

Chuck:
Where do you see that listed? I just checked the 2010 Ford classification sheet and it still shows the 352 at 285.

Jim,
You need to 'clean up' your PC. Do the following periodically to keep your PC clean ..
Go to start
Select all programs
Select accessories
Select system tools
Select disk cleanup
Under disk cleanup I would check the following if it applies:
1) downloaded programs
2) Temporary internet files
3) Office webpages
4) Recycle bin
5) Temporary files
6) Web/Client publisher temporary files
7) Temporary offline files

Click Ok, then when it is done, go back out to the NHRA website and re-open the spreadsheet.
