Quite a few of those classes (Limited Street, EZ Street, etc.) are run in the NMCA, so I think NHRA is trying to "cash-in" by getting those people to cross-over.

Every Entry in the gate is the goal...without spectators the entries are the source of the money. Unfortunately it dumbs down the racing to where it continues to hurt the spectator gate too by just adding Bracket cars to the lists...Long range makes it easier for Everyone who " owns transportation" to enter and run.( and pay an entry)
Then the disease that is killing weekly racing at the local tracks is increased at bigger events, NO SPECTATOR INTEREST or ATTENDANCE. |
