Which lane was Keri Angeles in? Was the left lane the reason for her crash?

I'll bet there will be a new rule about where photographers can stand after that.
that looks to be a little more dangerous that joyriding on a golf cart! no way I would have stood there!

No, Kari did not crash the car is not damaged. There was a problem with radial tire walk.

Keri spun out due to "radial walk" but did a great job keeping it off the wall and upright. At least 2 360 spins and 2 flat front tires, but no other damage. I had a perfect view from the water box.

Maybe SFI could come to the track and certify its safety before we run. I am sure NHRA would agree. Safety concerns about a racing surface should never fall on deaf ears.
I guess it might be time to strike "Safety First" from the NHRA logo and replace it with: "Safety First, As Long As We Get Our Piece" |

I believe NHRA is using VP traction compound now instead of VHT. The Vp seems to work all right in the heat but when the track gets cold it's dangerous. This is just another reason to stay away from national events. The top people at NHRA don't care about sportsman racers and until there are wholesale changes in the management of NHRA nothing is going to change. If you believe this, why support them by attending National events?

Can't really verify it from the different camera angles,,,but photographer #21 looks alot like div.6 photographer Rich Carlson,,whose hair was pretty white before that run almost ended up in his lap!
