Default Tell me Im wrong

NHRA is so far removed from its roots ...Im suprised they dont regulate skateboarding instead of drag racing!!!
Somebody correct me if Im wrong!!! NHRA was started to get drag racers off the streets & into sanctioned racing. If my memory is correct that would be cars most like stock & super stock...I doubt there were many funny cars or rails street racing back then! Nhra doest want to stop street racing anymore....they just want the money they make from the big boys of racing. NHRA wants to be like NASCAR only the very rich can play on their playground ... NHRA will only be happy when all low budget racers are gone !!
Consider this ...have you seen any rule changes that benefit the low buck racers????
I didnt think so.... No Money is being spent to enhance the sport for the budget racer......
NHRA message is this...Have a fat wallet or stay home...
My local track has test & tune every wed nite...the place is packed....they watch bracket racers run...it cost them $5 ... maybe NHRA could learn a thing or 2 ....
