"it wouldn't surprise me if they took the "hood scoop cars" out of Super Stock and put them in with Comp"
Most "hood scoop" cars wouldn't come close to being competitive in comp. It would probably just eliminate another 10-20 cars per event.

Having been around our sport for over 20 years, I agree whole heartedly with the statement that "NHRA is only going to make changes to avoid lawsuits". Don't be nieve enough to think that the track owners or NHRA is going to spend 1 red cent to improve the track unless they are absolutely forced to. Warren did speak the truth to a point. But to think the track owners or NHRA would spend the kind of money they did on shut down areas on "improving the track for the 99.9% of the rest of us", voluntarily, is ludicrous. They are going to put that money in there back pockets and laugh all the way to the bank. History speaks for itself.
Just my 2 cents, worth. |

Warren loves to speak out when frustrated, maybe a face to face with the war lords would do some good....no, I bet not.
