How are the NHRA/IHRA contingency programs ......??

Treating you? .... Just curious to see to how they have developed over the last 15 or so years. Are they more racer-friendly?

TERRIBLE! For starters, IHRA offers very little contingency money! NHRA get's more, but they don't enforce making them pay up!!! I am still owed money, by manufacturers that are posting again this year, money from as far back as April of last year! Someone needs to step up and make them pay the racers their due money!!! I know I'm not the only one, but I am still owed over $3,000 from last year alone! I have tried to go through Charlie Neilson, but he has been no help!!!

Jet Hot, Crane (which I'm sure I'll never see), Chicago Pneumatic and Castrol are the main offenders!!

The next time I buy a product, if I ever do, from any of these, I'm going to ask them to bill me and not pay them for at least six months!!!

Just a couple of Q's ... what do some of the NHRA sponsors say about being with IHRA also? .. the ones that have not paid you ? .. what is their excuse? .. Charlie Neilson? ...he is in charge of the NHRA program? What does he say about these people no paying? I have HEARD of some new requirements st by some of the sponsors .... that you have to spend a certain amount of money EACH YEAR to qualify. You also have to be the original purchaser. When I was a sponsor ... maybe 25% of the racers purchased the cars with my product already on the car. Are there any ODD BALL rules that you have observed ?
