Gotta agree and disagree here. Rap and Hip Hop are not music to me....but I'm old!

Pinks all out is the best exposure for drag racing and if you were as old as me you would remember those foolish, brave guys that dropped the flag...those were the days.

Lastly....Pinks...I am tired of watching this guy just flat talk people out of their cars by forcing them to accept negotiating that will certainly make them losers....just for ego and TV numbers.

Last legitimate arm drop race I participated in was in 1974. Little backwoods 1/8 mile dragstrip, that still races to this day. The tree died. I was running a 1967 Falcon 6 cylinder in Y/SA. They practically had to walk me down half of the strip. I can't remember what car ran me down but I believe it was a C or D stick.

Those were the days,

I know that some people have a problem with this type of drag racing, old cars, all running the same index and all running heads-up, but I just noticed today that the Gator Nationals is not a full event. In fact Stock and Super Stock is listed as only 75% full and the NHRA is advertising reduced ticket sales. The Pinks All Out race at Charlotte fill in approximately 15 -20 minutes and they had to turn cars away. The line on the Z-Max web site says "standing room only" ticket sales.

Bunkster, can't you race without shoe polish? Pinks allout draws more fans than any shoe polish race ever will.I thought the ucra was going to be allout races with a CIC but I was incorrect. Same O, Same O.Empty stands.

Where did you guys register at? The website for the track or on the speed tv website? The reason I'm asking is that they're coming to Seattle in August and have seen nothing on the Pacific Raceways website yet. With these races filling up so fast, I wouldn't want to miss it. Harry, are you planning on going?

If your track does like Charlotte there won't be anything on there until the night before and they won't put the registration link up until a pre-set time and then it will be a mad rush, I had 3 people working on trying to get me in luckly I got through, we got in about 10 minutes after 10 am when reg opened and we were 160th inline. Good luck

To register for the Indy Pinks All Out for the end of May you had to go through ticketmaster. Keep checking your tracks website daily. They will put up details there but they don't give too much notice. Indy drivers entries sold out in 14 minutes. Now they are having a second chance race April 18th and 19th at Indy for 64 more entries due to the number of people that didn't make registration online.

Yes I plan to be there. I'll be in my bracket car. Its a silver 53 Studebaker with maroon scallops. If you see me stop and say Hi. I lost a head gasket at the last race at Forks last year and haven't repaired it yet. To many projects. Hope to see ya.

Lady and gentleman,,,thanks for the info. I'll keep my fingers crossed but won't hold my breath. Theres an awful lot of racers up here in the NW,,,I'm sure it will be a stampede.
Harry,,,I'll look for you. I've been wanting to check out that little racetrack up in Forks but haven't made it yet. I've got a lot of racing coming up at Bremerton,, before I can concentrate on Pinks at Pacific.
Bring the Studie out and have some fun. Look me up, I'm easy to find. I have a 68' Chevy II, seafoam green with ghost flames,,or come up in the tower and say Hi' when I'm on the microphone.
See you there,,,,,, Danny Durham
