Sadly, I never got the opportunity to meet the CEO of Defunzalo racing. Always a treat to visit with Billy….

I?ve known Billy for many years and we?re good friends.
We always have fun conversations anytime we?re at the same race. I know he worked hard on the current car Doug is racing at Indy Doug is a great young man and a pleasure to be around at the races. Very sharp and is proving to be an excellent driver. We sure need young men like him to take over for us old geezers. Good luck the rest of the race to the Hoven?s Todd is still in as well as Doug.

As an old guy tinkering with getting back into stock after 20 plus years, Billy has been more then gracious and informative with suggestions and advice, after just meeting him at the Grove@ a month ago. I'm sure I am a PITA Thanks Billy |

Aww shucks, thanks guys.
This trip was all about Doug. When he decided that he wanted to go to Indy knowing that his Nova wouldn't qualify but that my Nova "freshened up and with a metric in it would", I just hoped that I could throw together enough junk to get him in. I never thought that it would go that fast. And did HE have a killer first Indy! Qualifies for the field, qualifies #1 in 1ST session, gets picked to go to the barn (he's saving that T sticker like it's a badge of honor!), PASSES a teardown, wins class AND goes a few rounds! Thanks again, I appreciate it.
