Default S-10, SBC race header

What is the latest? What does the market offer? I do not see many options with my searches. That is normal for us old hard-core racers looking for non-standard parts. I want a 1 5/8 x 1 3/4 x 3 design.

The last S-10 I did [the Super 10] had a custom, fender well exit design that was OK, but with the bigger tire I like to use the tire was all over the header when turning.

It has been brought to my attention about a forward-facing design. I had not considered it, however, for the S-10, it may be a good solution.

Larry… Hedman 65852, 1.625" - 1.75" - 3.0" Slip-on Collectors. They fit best if you move the cab back 1" or more, allowing for additional engine set back and better tire fitment. A 2.25" BS Front wheel helps too. Hope this helps… MB.

larry --call hedman see if they will make a long tube header with the 1 5/8 x 1 3/4 step ---might take a look at a trans dapt 4690 mount kit no need to move the cab but you will have to use a MINI starter and a shorty style oil filter or use a remote filter gets awfully tight down there--- all u might have to trim the ear off the right side of the trans where dust cover bolts on--Dick

Guys, I do not want the extra work of moving the cab so that is off the list. A 1 5/8 x 1 3/4 is a good idea and I will follow up. I just checked my heads and a 1 5/8 tube will relieve the exhaust port. This is a simple bracket toy for a 6.50 & 7.0 index and foot brake classes.

Just now, I am driving the truck as my trash hauler. It is just about impossible in East Texas to find a suitable "core" of any type. Anywho, it is a 1996 Isuzu Hombre in good condition except for a dirty interior.
