A little off topic but I thought it might be cool to see what else you guy's play with besides your S/SS racer. I absolutely love Stockers, but have never been able to fully invest my time & money into making my car legal. I go to all the races so I can to see friends & take pictures. Here is my girl and I wouldn't change her. Original 68.5 R-code Cobra Jet.

Since I'm building a stocker from scratch, this is the only other thing with a motor that I can afford to drive.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bought this in '88 when I was a junior in high school, and it was my daily driver until halfway through senior year when I decided to do some rust repair. That turned into new GM quarters, fenders, header panel, and door skins, repro tail panel, rockers, floor pans, , and hood. Was a 327/210 PG originally, now is a 406 w/ 700R4 and 4.11 gear. A buddy and I drove it from Omaha to Austin, TX and back about 10 years ago...it did pretty well, pulling down around 15 mpg with a 4779 Holley. |
