Where do I sign up? Does anyone know how to get in touch with Koresky or Butner. I noticed that they have decals on their Pro Stock cars. Sure would love to have one to put on my Maverick.

The stickers were only available at thier trailer on the sportsman side. No word on if they'll be available at other events but I would say keep an eye out on nitrofish.com after this weekend. I think I have two spare in the trailer if you plan on going to the St louis nationals.

All of you who know me know that I have my politics and my Christian beliefs, I don't hide that, but in this racially and politically charged environment we've all been thrust into,I see a lot of unnecessary problems caused by the politically motivated instigation of a lot of things. It's important to me to get along with everybody I can, definitely not possible to please everybody, but you wouldn't want to do that. The point of this issue is that politics has demanded a far greater prominence in our culture than it deserves. When destruction of others, lawlessness, hate, and societal issues suffer like this, we need to look at some things.
I have a huge high regard for our Veterans, be they from the Viet Nam era, the Gulf wars, the wars on terrorism, whatever whenever, you veterans deserve the ultimate in high regards. Thanks for your service, welcome back, and may God bless you and fill your lives with good things. Glad to see reform at the VA. When the welfare class gets better medical treatment than our veterans, something definitely went wrong. One of the friends I have made from this forum and from local drag racing in general, is Eddie from Eddie's 66 postings. He has a really cool 66 Nova that he has a lot of fun with, but one of his distinguishing features is his dedication and devotion to veteran's issues. It has been a while since he was discharged, and he still tirelessly pursues his passion to serve our Veterans in many areas. We see each other at Pomona every year, we get lunch together, he's been over to my home several times, whether it was just for lunch or repairing a cylinder head between runs recently, and this guy is about the finest man you will ever meet. I'm sure our political views vary from one another, but that's not why we are friends. All that said, it is pretty obvious that politics is way out of hand when it divides friends, divides families, damages our workplaces and our education system from preschool through grad school, negatively affects our work places, and polarizes our society like it is doing. It seems that there needs to be more non political places where persons of all persuasions can assemble, relax around each other and genuinely enjoy "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and enjoy our far greater combined strengths rather than our political variances. That's all, I'm done. |

66 & ALL OF OUR MILITARY SERVICE PEOPLE, PAST, PRESENT, & FUTURE!!! There's so much I could say to the non-military comments of what I've read in this thread, but I will pass, because finally I have racing to look forward to, and I would rather think about that, as it's something good, that I have waited six months for!
