McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
Does anyone know who built and owned the McDonalds '86 Olds Cutlass that ran in 1995 & 1996? The car would have ran in SS/NA & SS/OA.

Re: McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
I was talking to a couple of young guys at a morning car meet yesterday. They never got to Westhampton. I believe gone 16 years now. Went by it a few weeks ago. How truly sad we have nothing here. Tracks are getting further n further.
Anyone tow over the bridges yet this year with the enhanced prices. Time to rethink things about this great sport. |

Re: McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
I am curious what that costs for a trailer. I was there two years ago on a trip to the "far east" and decided to see NYC and S-K Speed in Lindenhurst. I paid $15 to go over the Verazanno Narrows bridge in a car. I'm used to bridges being under five bucks. Wondered what a semi truck costs or a race car trailer.

Re: McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
Anyone who built the car? My Dad has purchased the car but I can't find any info on it. I would like to see some qualifying sheets from 1995 or 1996. Any info from that time frame would be helpful.
Thanks Scott Tilley |

Re: McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
One thing is for sure, Chimeri didn’t build the car. Furthermore, if he did,.....you wouldn’t want to talk to him anyway....That was over 25 years ago but I believe the great Scotty Richardson drove the car at a few events .....

Re: McDONALDS 1986 SS CUTLASS
The Olds Cutlass could have been one of the many Cutlass that Oldsmobile Motorsports had built or issued for NHRA Stock and Super Stock Eliminator. I believe FJ Smith built the FWD conversion Olds SS cars and might know who built some of RWD cars.
