I am not sure if I am over looking it in the rule book or not. Is there a certain amount (size) area it must cover? I bought a Racequip 15x18 mesh/ribbon hybrid with the straps for the door bar and spring loaded upper rod. Car is a 66 GTO and the net looks kinda small.
I tried to upload a pic but some reason keeps timing out. So is there a rule for the size? |

No. No specific dimensions. "...designed in an attempt to protect the driver and avoid contact with track surface or guardwall." One of those areas where it depends on whose looking at it. I like to use custom nets made for the particular cage configuration. I make it reasonably long enough so that it comes up beyond the elbow far enough to keep the arm in the car. So far, so good.
