After getting back from Florida with our new Bus and Jr's Superstocker,
I open my National Dragster to see if I get a picture from Vegas Nationals where I struggled to get to the Final Four in Stock Eliminator. OH NO.......There is the Picture alright .......BUT it says Jon Jr (My Kid) in the caption. GEEEZ: Why can't an elderly old man in an Aspen Wagon ever get any RESPECT!!!!!

I was wondering about that! I have enough trouble sorting out which one of you is in which car, but I always thought I could at least count on it being you in the wagon.
National Dragster had me doubting that for a minute until I looked closely at the picture. Great job! |

Thanks Pete!
Bill: Jon Jr drives the wagon much better than I do as well. He won class at Phoenix Nat's when he was 15 years and 6 months old. I can not recall anyone doing that any younger than that. He also won a Divisional a little later in the year and represented Div. 7 at the All Stars. He just got a little bored with it in a few years.

Wasn't the bigger error - them reporting the death of Tom Huggins.
He is alive. Ron

John, he won't get bored in the new high flying Duster...have seen it put it up there many times; sure to be gracing the pages of ND soon. My favorite Jon Jr 'moment' was when you guys hauled the wagon to Indy a few years ago and won class there...

I feel your pain! My dad, cousin, and brother all had their names in National Dragster before me. I finally runner-upped at a race at IRP, and when my Dragster came it had my run info, but my brother's name - and it's not even close to mine! I guess I used up all my luck at the race?! lol! I E-mailed the track PR Guy and he did change it on the website, and to date I still haven't gotten my name in ND...
