"Live From" Atco Dragway LODRS

Hello everyone, we are here live from Atco Dragway in Atco, NJ. Yes, its only Wednesday, but if you don't get here early you most likely will not be parked on the black top. It just started raining as I'm typing, or should I say pouring. I found two cars out before the rains came. In the first photo you can see Mr. Bender, Mr. Bednaz and Mr. Oaks having a pleasant conversation about who knows what.

There is a test and tune tomorrow. The weather calls for a 30% chance of thunderstorms for the next few days and it will be in the mid 80's warm and humid. Sunday looks great with temps I the low 80's and pleasant.

I will be testing a few cars tomorrow, but I should have time to get some photos.

Hey all, testing today has gone well for most racers. The track is in good shape, but its hot and humid. The DA is about 2600, and there is a tail wind. I don't have any numbers from today's testing as I am testing myself.

I see a few B/SA and A/SA cars testing, I will try to get some numbers. A few shots from this morning.

A few more shots from today. I could not get any action shots and was not able to get any numbers from cars testing today. I was to busy testing, I hope to do a better job tomorrow.

It was very warm and humid today, and tomorrow will be the same, with a slight chance of showers. Start time will be 9:30 with Stock out first.

Good morning everyone, its already 75, going up to the mid 80's. It wouldn't be so bad but the humidity is very high. Start time 9:30 with Stock out first. We had some have rain early this morning but its clear now.

Qualifying is pretty much done for the day, they do have some clean up runs for cars that got here late. For anyone looking for qualifying sheet, you can go to live timing and see the complete stats of today's racing.

It was warm today, upper 80's with sunshine all day. It was also very humid. The track was in good shape for most everyone even with the sun beating down on the track all day. Here are some shots of Super Stock in action today. I will have Stock later or tomorrow, it was tough getting back in the lanes to shoot Stock.

One note on Don Belles's 08 Super Stock Cobra Jet. Its the first photo. Its a 5.4 with a 4 liter blower, a Super Stock only combo. He went a 8.15 today and 171 mph. I am told this car can easily got into the 7's, It might happen tomorrow.
