Default Congrats to Tim Ames E/S Duster - Topeka

Just in case no one else noticed, I want to bring attention to Tim Ames and congratulate him for an exceptional weekend in Topeka! A really fine string of packages to reach the final against the reigning world champ in race 1, then to take him out the first round in race 2 and go all the way to the quarters with yet another string of impressive runs. I think that's pretty slick in a stick car!

And you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer guy. I should have spent my weekend getting driving lessons from Tim instead of hanging out with Dirtbag!

Hot Damn Tim! Great job! Keeping us three-pedal guys in the mix is always a great thing. Wish me luck at the Atco LODRS this weekend. Congrats again, Bill Taylor.

Thank you for the kind words guys! The weather was excellent, the car count was high, and the NHRA Division 5 team and the Heartland Park Staff did a great job executing the event. They put in some long hours for several days straight. It was cool to see 3 stick cars among the 6 quarter finalists on Sunday. Congratulations to Jeff Strickland and Jeff Lopez for their wins in Stock.

Good luck at ATCO this weekend Mr. Taylor! Give 'em hell.
