Help please, I have a Edelbrock Q-Jet 1910 with one to one secondary's on a 454 H0 with a dual plane intake and it works fine running down the track, I have drilled the vacuum break part # 05883 from .020 to .028 and I am still unable to get the secondary's to open enough on the burn out, so I removed the secondary damping link and it helped, but the secondary's still do not open quick enough on the burn out.

I would put the link back on and carefully adjust the spring wrap on the secondary air valve . You shouldn't have any problems with a Q-jet on a 454 doing a burnout .
