Mopar 340 TA Block and Rocker Arm Specialist rocker set

Block sold. Rocker arm set still available.

Casting number 3577130 TA 340; rare, great candidate for a TA/AAR resto or race. Has 3 sleeves but had standard 355 pistons in it when I broke a rod many years ago, had it sleeved and set it aside. Has 4 bolt mains, as was made possible by the extra thick main webs on TA blocks. I had local machine shop verify the block is good despite some damage to bottom of two cylinders and they rough bored it .030. Block is not poured but it has had .100 taken off the deck.

No VIN number on the pad above the pan rail...suspect it was a replacement block procured by a racer since these preceded the X block.

Rocker arm set includes shafts. These were the trick Stocker setup prior to roller rockers and believe these to be superior to anything else on a stocker. Never been used, the rockers are bushed and uses the small diameter shafts. One of the shafts is bent but rockers slide on freely and it will pull down to the head okay. See the pic.

$750 for block, $900 for rockers or $1500 for all plus shipping.
