Somebody needs to put him in a car so they can concentrate on tuning, nobody fits that better than WJ and Kurt.

What makes you think WJ and Kurt have the funding to pull that off? I like their hard-nosed approach but think if anybody needs a driver it's Gaines or maybe Edwards. Mike sounded pretty down in his exit interview, they announced Cagnazzi had hired away 2 of his top engine guys...the $$$ beat goes on.

IMO, it would be a mistake to put Dan in a Pro car. Not that he wouldn't do OK, it is just that Dan is probably the best ever at driving the finish line, any you don't have to do that in Pro Stock. I believe that Dan could win with a dump truck, if it meant having to have a good light and driving the finish line.

Dan showed that given the right circumstances and being consistent on RT, you can win in Comp without taking Perm CIC or at the very least the minimum amount. Congrats Dan on your win, best of luck in Pomona.

Anderson would lose his mind if Dan showered his car with brake dust at the big end.
Did Edwards ever get his shoulder fixed? I know it seemed to be hurting him pretty bad at Indy. |
