Default LIVE from Pittsburgh IHRA Nitro Jam

I arrived a little too late to get in the S/SS Combo race, but can report the semifinals of Pete D'Agnolo over a red-lighting Scott Stillings (-.003), and Gianni Cantusci taking the bye in his Stocker. It's cooled off a bit with the sun down, but don't expect any records with a low barometer of 28.7...

The Ross Family is debuting a gorgeous (goes without saying) E/SA '68 Barracuda. Sounds mean! Zac has the crate motor back in his Avenger for the weekend, while they do a little R&D on their 318 Super Stock motor.

Jims Woods of "Borrowed Money" and "The Original Tanker" fame is working Tech, and I confirmed plans with him to join NHRA Div. 3's Donald Braun as part of the Tech staff for the Northern Class Nationals at Columbus next year. Things are coming together!

Friday S/SS Combo final:
D'Agnolo three rips on the big end to go 9.440, dead-on with a zero for the W over Cantusci, who sounds like he's been fighting a little stumble off the line.

ATTENTION
Due to impending weather coming in tomorrow, it was just announced we will be running BOTH Pro-Ams TODAY. Races to be run concurrently, ie race 1 rnd 1, race 2 rnd 1, race 1 rnd 2, race 2 rnd 2, etc.

Had a little 6am shower, track crew is on top of things, sun's out. Let's roll! Busy day ahead.

This seems like a very proactive idea, but why don't they finish one race first instead of having two unfinished races possibly?
