Anybody like to share their thoughts on the retail industry now trying to steal Thanksgiving ? If you have not heard ,some retailers have decided that opening Friday morning at midnight is not good enough anymore. Now they will open up at 8 and 9 pm on Thursday (Thanksgiving). Only goes to show how profits trump family. If this is allowed to continue, Thanksgiving will be a lost holiday.

So far the holiday offenders are Target ( open @ 9pm ). Sears, K-mart, Toys R Us and Walmart ( all at 8pm ). There is a planned walkout of over 1000 employees of Walmart in protest of raiding a family holiday.

If nobody shop these store on Thanksgiving, they will not be open next Thanksgiving. Any bets? If you know someone that has to work on Thanksgiving, they have the option of getting anther job. It's kind of like the election. I don't like it, but it is what is is....I have the option to move out of the country.
