After reading about the jr stockers of the past, I have been looking for a early 60's ford. I found a 1963 ford galaxy 500 fastback. I would like to replicate one of the great stockers of the past only using if possible technology of that period. Doe any one have some pics of one of these cars on stocker form? I will be also asking many questions in the future about the setups of that period.
Thanks |

Here's a new dyno test of a Capt. CJ 352 stocker motor destined for a '64 Galaxie:

A 64 Galaxie would be pretty versatile for a modern Stocker. The 352, 390, 427 in single or dual carb versions and the mighty 427 Hi Riser are all allowed. The HR is the same combo Tom Nolan and Tibor Kadar are using just in a heavier car. It should work.

My goal is not to build a modern day stocker. I want to build a jr stocker of the past. The stockers of today remind me ore of the SS of the past.
I would like to build something like this Last edited by David Lee; 11-12-2012 at 05:51 AM. |
