Under Factored Cars Complaints

So now with the new copo out and it running some real fast numbers (8.88 @142mph) how come nobodys complaining about them being under factored ? . After all that time is faster then my 2012 CJ from the factory 8.92@156mph rated at 510hp the Copo is rated at 550hp and faster. Whats up I'm curious ?

You have to give this a little time. 3 runs by Cambria are just that, 3 runs. There will be bitchin and moaning. Just give it a little time after these cars get an event or two under their belt and stand by for it. I think that after Indy, it should be in full swing.

probably cause it did no good to complain about the fords or mopars,they did nothing to them...just another player in the game, thats all.

They sure scrubbed a lot off the top end as a 142 MPH is only good for about a 9.30 ET. The fact they ran an 8.88 ET with a 142 MPH indicates there's a lot more MPH and subsequently a lot lower ET in the cards. Watch out Fords!

The guys that have to race the bogus combos heads up are the ones that complain. In this case, that would be you, Jeff, etc. right?

If somebody with a legit car has to race one heads up, they ain't gonna be happy with them, even if they race a Chevy. The blown CJs and DPs don't bother people that don't have to race them heads up.

If Chevy had a bogus combination that ran my class, I would complain about them just as much as I do the Fords and Chryslers. They are definitely underfactored, the N/A 427 is rated the same as the old one! The good thing about the COPOs is that the supercharged motor is already in it's own class, and the N/A motor is only 1 hit away from being out of A (will happen by the end of the year for sure) so it will affect a lot fewer racers.

For what it's worth, I would rather have a new Mustang than a new Camaro, I'm not biased towards the COPOs.
