Default Andy Griffith dies at 86

Another of our T.V. icons has died at the age of 86. The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock were two of my favorites. Andy also did many movies and appeared on numerous other shows. His gospel music was as good as many other singers. R.I.P. Andy - you will not be forgotten.

Let's see how many of us remember these good times brought to us by Andy and all the others on his shows.

Andy was a true American icon. Everyone loved "America's Sheriff". Jim

That was when we laughed at what was funny. And his shows were fun. And he was as Jim said, an American Icon.

Today, the best selling, most talked about book is about bondage and domination, and one of the top movies is about a male stripper...

We had already lost most of our pride, character, humor and compassion as a Nation. Now we have also lost one of those great reminders of that wonderful simpler, more family oriented time in America.

Rest in Peace Andy Griffith!
